Eran Shavelsky, Founder and CEO

Mr. Shavelsky, the driving force behind the formation of MedMinder Systems, brings a proven track record in guiding the development of new ideas into mature technologies that succeed in the marketplace. Prior to MedMinder, he held leadership roles at Iscar, Sheer Networks and CentrePath that were ultimately acquired. Mr. Shavelsky earned his MBA at MIT’s Sloan School of Management and his bachelor degrees in accounting and law from Tel Aviv University.

Thuan Nguyen, Pharm D., RPh., Head of Pharmacy Operations

Thuan has years of experience counseling patients and managing their medications and is leading the MedMinder pharmacy operations. He grew up in Colorado as the youngest of 5 children. Influenced by his older siblings, he decided to pursue a career in healthcare in order to provide better care for his local community. He graduated from MCPHS University with a doctorate of pharmacy degree (Pharm.D.) and has years of experience working in community pharmacies. In his spare time Thuan enjoys playing sports, cooking, and traveling to meet people from all around the world.

Alison Weldon, Pharm D., RPh., Head of Pharmacy In-Take

Alison Weldon is the head of the MedMinder Pharmacy In-Take department. Alison’s team is managing medication reconciliation, patient and physician consultation, and medication verification. Dr. Weldon received a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Mercer’s Southern School of Pharmacy in Atlanta Georgia. She has been practicing independent pharmacy for over 10 years. The background of independent pharmacy has engendered strong feelings for patient centered care. Alison is focused on collaborating with the patient and physicians to help the patient reach health care goals. Community service is also a large part of life, outside of pharmacy practice.

David Brass - MedMinder Privacy and Compliance Officer

David Brass, Privacy and Compliance Officer

Over 20 years in Health Care from both local and national organizations with an extensive background in Quality, Compliance, Regulatory, and Project Management. Aside from many years of experience, David has an A.S. in Paramedicine, a B.S. in Healthcare Management, and a Masters in Regulatory Affairs in Drugs, Biologics, and Medical Devices, with a major concentration in Compliance. David is also currently working on completing a second Master’s Degree in Legal Studies, with a major concentration in Health Law at Northeastern University School of Law. David’s goal is to assure patient safety and privacy through an efficient and effective compliance program, where our goal is to provide a safe, healthier, independent, and longer life, through excellent customer service, in a cost-effective manner.

Jessica Mullen - MedMinder Head of Operations

Jessica Mullen, Head of Operations

Jessica is responsible for the MedMinder operations including customer support, HR, billing, and general administration. Jessica has vast experience healthcare, customer service and operations. She has studied a degree in liberal arts with focus on healthcare administration, and is certified in medical billing and finance. She has worked in large hospitals, to small offices, and everything in between, and loves the culture at MedMinder. She is passionate about the MedMinder product mission and its positive impact on so many of its user’s day to day lives. Tech savvy and quick witted, she values helping people and staying organized. Outside of work Jessica enjoys live music, cooking, the beach, and spending time with her family and dog.

Andrew S. Dibner, Ph.D.

Considered the father of personal response systems, Dr. Dibner co-founded Lifeline Systems, the first and still leading company in this field. He holds a doctorate in psychology from the University of Michigan and was a psychology professor at Boston University, where he specialized in the psychology of aging.

Woodie Flowers, Ph.D.

Dr. Flowers, a professor emeritus of mechanical engineering at MIT, has over 40 years of experience in engineering design and product development, including 20 years of research in biomedical engineering. A member of the National Academy of Engineering, Dr. Flowers holds three honorary doctorates and many teaching awards. He is a member of the board of directors or advisors for four companies.
